Date: Mon, May 6th @7:00PM - 10:00PM
Place: Fort Revere, Hull
Cost: $30/person

Workshop participants will meet at Historic Fort Revere, located on Battery Road in Hull near the Jacobs Elementary School. Night photography expert Lisa Ryan will offer instruction and assistance with night shooting and light painting.

In this workshop you will utilize the basic night shooting skills, covered in the talk, such as determining exposure, focusing in the dark, and how to shoot long exposures. We will also be using different light sources and tools to illuminate and enhance this old ruined fort. We'll use our creativity to capture the mystery, wonder and magic of night time photography.

Participants will need:

  • Camera capable of manual control of ISO, aperture and shutter speed
  • Intervalometer
  • Tripod,
  • Flashlight:  not too big or bright, less than 100 lumens is good.  A red flashlight is very useful to check camera settings and not blind yourself in the dark. (Black and Decker sells one for about $5 that has interchangeable color caps: red, blue and green.  Home Depot, Lowes, and Job Lot are good sources for these.)

Group limited to 12.  Fee: $30 per person, payable by cash/check at workshop.
