Join us on November 16 for a tour of Boston’s North End. The North End combines history and Italian Heritage for a wonderful neighborhood full of delicious food and the sites of some of Boston’s most iconic events. Visit Paul Revere’s house at 19 and 29 North Square. It was the home of Paul Revere during the American Revolution. Also in the North End is the Old North Church where the lanterns that guided Revere’s ride were hung. Nearby is Copp’s Hill Burying Ground, where many early Bostonians are buried including Cotton Mather and his father Increase. No visit to the North End would be complete without a stroll down Hanover St., and a visit to Mike’s Pastry Shop as well as the many other pastry shops, restaurants and stores in the area. If open space is more your taste, visit Christopher Columbus Park or the new Rose Kennedy Greenway. Lastly we’ll pick one of those wonderful Italian restaurants for a late lunch/early dinner.

Please email the trip leader if you plan to attend.
